Today was very exciting. CCAA site was updated with referral cut off at August 25th. WooHoo! With an LID of Sept 8, 2005 we could be next. It's really starting to feel real. It's been a long and winding road. I took Mandarin a year ago at our local community college (and worked really hard at it) thinking we would be traveling within a couple of months. I have pretty much forgotten everything I've learned, but I'm going to get the tapes and books out and start practicing.

We are LID 9/9, and like you, very hopeful that we could be next. I have my first Mandarin class tonight, I hope it goes well...
We are right with you (LID Sep 7) We are sooooooo hoping this is finally our month. It's just crazy how long this rollercoaster has went on. It's a very sureal feeling right now as I'm too affraid to get too excited!
