Woo Hoo!

CCAA just updated their site and we're in! We should see our baby's face this Friday hopefully. Our hearts are racing right now. I don't think we're going to get much sleep tonight. Can't wait to see her picture. James and I had Chinese takeout tonight and there was only one fortune cookie that we split and the fortune read "A letter of great importance may reach you any day now." Wow! Unbelievable!

Hi everyone,
Well, tomorrow is the day we may find out who our baby is. James and I are having a hard time concentrating on our work or anything for that matter. Hopefully the long wait will be over. We are in the middle of a remodel and having to make decisions on paint color and countertops which seem so meaningless compared to seeing our baby's face! We just want to think about Lucy right now.

The rumors on RQ's site are starting to fly. It says all or most of Sept could be matched. With an LID of 9-8-05, it looks like we're a shoe in. James and I are so excited right now it's hard to concentrate on anything. Thank God Thanksgiving is here because I honestly can't work right now.

Today was very exciting. CCAA site was updated with referral cut off at August 25th. WooHoo! With an LID of Sept 8, 2005 we could be next. It's really starting to feel real. It's been a long and winding road. I took Mandarin a year ago at our local community college (and worked really hard at it) thinking we would be traveling within a couple of months. I have pretty much forgotten everything I've learned, but I'm going to get the tapes and books out and start practicing.
